For these sessions you can pay on the door for £4, or £15 a month.  If you set up a monthly Direct Debit, this reduces the price to £13.40. Monthly payments are made in advance and are payable on 22nd of the month. Please note there are no lessons at Easter, Whitsun, School Summer Holidays and Christmas.

We generally recommend that people new to the sport of canoeing start off with a series of lessons at the arena as this enables them to learn and practice the basic skills in a warm, safe environment. As there are often a number of coaches covering each session, this means that clients can have very personalised help and coaching.

All equipment is provided and all that you need to bring is a swimming costume, T shirt and towel.

Although the Arena can ask people to pre-book, it is not really necessary. Just turn up on the evening which is convenient to you, report to the reception desk at about 8.40 p.m. and ask to pay £4 for a canoeing session. Get changed in either the Wet or Dry changing rooms and then bring your basket of clothes through to the poolside. The group meets on the right-hand side by the palm trees, near the bottom of the slide.
